I am a novel,
With no set direction or moral.
Learning lessons, telling stories, living life to the fullest.
A blurred crystal ball,
My fingers tangled around its shiny surface,
Eyes shut…mind open,
Trying to receive my future; preparing before it happens.
Life is a maze, and love is a riddle.
Taking me on a blinded path to find my way on my own.
Seeking new places and discovering new people,
Who become my rope, holding me tightly to Earth,
Never letting me slip away.
I am thankful for anything and everything, because one day,
It might all just be gone.
But all good things come to an end,
and all endings bring new beginnings.
So when the entire world has been shattered at my feet,
I will be ready to smile because it happened
and start my own new beginning.
