Tattered and run dow
Battered and used
They were falling apart
But they were all he had
The shoelaces were gray
The bottoms peeling off
But every time he felt lost
he put on his beaten up pair of shoes and he ran
Away from his problems
Away from the world
Away from anyone he knew
He started over
But when things got complicated He put on his shoes and he ran again away
Forever lost
