The Madman's Legacy

I make you weep, I make you cry,
They make you bleed and make you die.
Sanity's end is long since past,
Vanity once sought to make it last.
A broken soul, a hollow faith,
My shattered heart, her mournful wraith.
I sought to aid, but only scarred,
I locked it away, but the door was unbarred.
The havoc they wreaked cursed my name,
And treated my legacy as some twisted game.
