I run to my car, excited for the day!
The sun is just rising and the temp is at 88.
I roll down the windows and I’m on my way.
It’s finally here and we all can’t wait
I think to myself its graduation day!
Finally the day I get to hear my name and,
I’ll walk across that stage.
Hair all done, fancy dresses and shoes.
A black cap and gown and a tassel too.
I accomplished a lot I must say.
This is definitely going to be a special day.
It’s graduation day!
Rows of chairs on the field,
Friends and families all gathered around.
As the music plays we walk in anxious to hear our name.
I hold in the tears as I walk across the stage.
I can't believe it’s my graduation day!
