A noise won't make me jump

If someone dies here, I won't care
A noise won't make me jump
I don't have to listen for the falling of a body
For my father's footsteps coming to a halt
For my mother's breathing to suddenly stop
For my little brother's choke
For the last sigh of an overworked body
For the closing thought of a beautiful mind
For the final blink of a precious soul
For my leader to be lost
For my reason to be tossed
For my light to be dark
For my heart to be broke
Here, I am alone
