Faithful Scars

With doubts taped over my eyes,
there are those who feed me lies,
for they do not support my situation,
for they only give me the temptation to end my days,
with not a word nor farewell.
Though I can always tell,
that there will be faith, to the sound of her voice,
to the feel of her touch, I know I am safe.
Spending every waking moment I can with her in my presence, for she holds the last of my essence.
