Maybe it's not about the happy ending, maybe it's about the story.

I died last night in your arms,
but darling tell me whats the harm?
One more person dead.
Just one more obituary to be read.

I died last night while holding you.
When you died there was simply nothing else i could do.

Two less people on the face of the earth,
but darling without you what was life worth?

We died last night while we were holding eachother.
life wasnt living when we couldnt be together.
Two less people are alive,
but soon in heaven our souls will arrive.

Two spirits together,
bound by a love thats eternal.
Death is bitter sweet, but life had us beat.

We were Romeo and Juliet.
a Montegue, a Capulet.

a love that with stood the test of life.
We could be together,
but only if we used a knife.

So we grabbed the blade and braved our choice.
Isn't it ironic how death gave us a voice?
