Old Truck
I have an old truck.
So I am told.
That would be my luck.
I wish it was sold.
Old and crusty.
Smelling of oil.
When I drive by it's kind of musty.
Rear view mirror holding by tinfoil.
Some would laugh at this old blue truck.
But I hop in with a smile.
Only thinking this is my great luck.
Hoping to make each mile.
Pulling up in a gravel drive.
Turning the key off with a following of a backfire.
With no tent windows I wont dare to jive.
Having a blowout on my back tire.
