Insensible
Minutes pass and I forget your voice.
Hours pass and I forget your eyes.
Days pass and I forget your touch.
My heart beat is rapid.
The wind is pressed against my face.
The clouds roll in and the sun begins to set.
I can not breathe and lost my way.
I remember all your words.
My legs gave way and I knelt by the lake.
I placed my hands in the lake and poured the water on my face.
The cold reached into my soul.
The feeling was unnerving.
My hands began to tremble.
What a revelation, I'm insensible.
