My Wonders
I live alone on a Ferris wheel.
Looking down at the world I hate.
I was waiting for the day that I’d meet you
While I am burned by the uptight sunshine.
I opened the window that belongs just to me.
I was waiting for a day
like this one, right here.
Even as I reach out
It is an unrequited age.
It is a future with no salvation.
I weep for your presence.
To the footsteps of those who have left.
I chant an ineffective spell of blessings
I want to sing with my unloaded head.
You are my one and only ally.
When my eyes were open
It caused stinging pain
From the sharp wind of the night
You and I simultaneously
Had a dream
About the revived era.
The future blessing by a rainbow.
I was waiting for the day that I’d meet you.
I will always wait for you
