Calms the pain
Oh how I love the rain
It somehow calms the pain
Takes my mind off of you
Yes the girl who said I love you too
I could see by the damp and moist puddles of water
That this girl was not her fathers daughter
She had that fiery spark in her eye
The flame that twists truth and speaks lies
I used to feel safe around her
Thinking back it all seems like a blur
I do miss her some days
But why stay
Instead I will go for a walk in the rain
