I Do Believe In You
People have told me
That dreams are meant for sleeping
And that I should give up now
While I still have my dignity
But I say
Dreams aren’t dreams
Unless they’re worth achieving
All my life
I’ve never had someone believe in me
Until that day
She stood beside me and said
“I do believe in you!”
And at that moment
I felt like I could do anything
Nothing and nobody stood in my way
She told me that everyday
And I soon began to believer her
Even though she may be gone now
I can still hear her say
“I do believe in you!”
