deep blue sea

Would you believe that there is a time with dolphins walked the lands
when they crawled right out of the deep blue sea to hang and chill with man
would you believe that they gave up there legs and pretty nails and toes and fingers and maybe even smiles
to go back to the deep blue sea
and flee
do you believe that we are like dolphins
we give up on things and run back to what we came from
i believe that i am like a dolphin
but if given the chance i would not give up my smile my hands my toes and my fingers
i would not give it up
to go back to the deep blue sea
