Life As We Know It
The longer my body stays on this planet
The more I become to realize how complicated it is
We are constantly moving forward,
but we never notice it
And if we don’t come to realize it,
We fade away,
And our name is forgotten
And its as if we never existed
Life is an attempt to be remembered after you’re gone
Famous, infamous, no one cares
They just want to feel important in some way
We have convinced ourselves that a single person can change the world
But in reality, each person is just another drop of water in a huge wave
Bound to destroy itself eventually
And once it does, we all spread apart and try to start something new,
until we all just come back together
Always creating, never destroying
