And a crush is where it will end
I don't want to hear the words
We can still be friends
But I never got the chance to show you
Who I am or what we could be
How much I cared about you
Or what you meant to me
I won't say I loved you
Because it isn't true
But it would have been nice to know
I was at least worth the truth
