Again
Every Time I find my way
there you are to 'save the day'
while all along I was fine
content for once
in mediocre life
living day
just as that
a day to put into the past
yet when you show up
the past comes to be now
and I can't get past that
all the little things you bring up
like yesterday's yesterday
because I hate to tell you
but I honestly don't care
and if it is in my past
I want it to stay there
but 'saving the day'
means saving me
a girl who doesn't
need to be 'saved'
