Louisiana
I wake up to the sound of birds chirping
And look outside to see the sun shining on the swamp.
I can smell the gumbo cooking
And get ready for another day in LA.
Go fishing with my dad and see a gator,
While we listen to some jazz.
Help my mom peel the crawfish
And maybe make a cake.
We gather round the table to say a prayer
And chow down on our good eats.
We watch a football game and have a banana
Oh how I love Louisiana!
