In The Dark

Crystal tears spill out my eyes
As I look at your face
And see the lies
Though the empty space

You told me to be strong
But how?
When everything goes wrong
And nothing goes right

I try to hold it in
Keep it a secret
But then my madness begins
And then my mind goes blank

That’s when I awake
Tears on my cheeks
My body begins to shake
Remembering that I was left in the dark
