The Thirst

A blank mind means a broken tomorrow
A beautiful mind means there'll be sorrow
A different breed of killer, stalks my soul
A life once lost, I'll never be full
Below the shadows, lies a sign
It's one chance, my painful lifeline
I can feel this broken moment forming within
A drop of blood shows me my sins
A bloody scream makes my veins flow
As I am speared by heart felt arrows
Sacrifice is screaming my name
Purple scars say it'll never be the same
Shadows wait for me on the edge
A broken voice pushes me over the ledge
Countless horrors make me bleed
My head is filled with silent screams
A lovely hell has had me torn
And I grow devil wings and angel horns
A steady heartbeat sings me to sleep
While a black voice steals me to keep
My head is heavy, my breaths way too close
I faint like death, in a rose.

This is a poem i can understand. so many of mine use the same theme of that hopeless sensation that we all have at times. lines 14, 16, 19,and 22 were my favorite part because they have this emotion that i could feel just from reading it.
