Bright and beautiful
Young and old
Twinkling
Winking at me
Polaris, the North star
Right above me
Never moving from its throne
The king among paupers
Is shining
Shooting stars
Like blue and red meteors
Race by so quickly
I close my eyes and wish
Wish for the night to pause
So I can connect the dots
And the constellations
To make a beautiful picture
