My Mistake
Cold was my heart
Untold was my pain
I lie here on your
Chest thinking abut the rain
Every time I look back
I see black in your eyes
For every lie you had said
Was just not right
I close my eyes and see the fight
Broken dishes were just not right
Your hands around my neck
Were just too tight
And so I grabbed a knife
I stabbed you quick and clean
With all my might
Thinking at that time it was just Right
Now I look back with pity and sigh
For I have learned my mistake
Oh dear oh my
If only I had known
What I had done
I wouldn't be sitting
Here feeling shun
