This was my home once
I made forts with these old white sheets, and those fingerprints at the top of the staircase are mine
I left footprints deep in these floors
I’ve walked here a thousand times
I did my best to leave an imprint for you, and take nothing but a memory
But out here, in this worn out world, i forgot who I was
If you could just remind me, i’ll leave this place forever
With just the smudges of where my fingertips touched as the only reminder that i was here
