We wipe away tears
as we wash away fears
of this bittersweet love
we call you and me.
The thoughts of our past
are tearing me apart.
As you step more and more
on my heart you are
breaking me more in two.
If only you knew
of the love in my heart,
the thoughts in my mind,
and the tears in my eyes.
Inside I'm hiding all the pain
just to escape another day
with the thoughts of losing you.
