I am waiting for a rebirth
A rebirth of wonder not yet found
Amidst the broken glass
And swing sets in my childhood back
Yard and life.

I am forever wanting a change
In the scenery bleeding by relentlessly
In it's passing of stage and hour
'Til the fall of curtain

And what if not any
Sounds should be uttered amongst
Such a teaming metropolis
Closest to the shade of hope which
Paints the horizon new
