When I remember the feeling,

It all comes rushing back to me

I remember feeling helpless

and the tears were rolling.

I never want to go back to that.



The numbness taking over my body.

And it was out of my control.

Like a dream

Taking me away.

But now I'm going to take it back



Iv been through thick and thin

And I made it through that.

I'll do this too

That's a fact

My life is coming back to me



And a smile is too

I'm stronger than to let something so sI'mple

Rip my life out of my hands.

But its not to far gone

And its in my grasp.



I promised her Id come out on top

and that's what i intend to do

She'll see

When my life is good.

I wont let this take me over.



I will find myself again

Its not hard to start new.
