It leaves my hands in an upward path
My feet finally settle on the ground
Everything leads to this moment
Now everything seems sound
I bend over trying to keep balanced
It keeps flying through the air
I stand straight up watching
It seems to land without a care
Thirty feet away it stops rolling
The shot put flew forever, though
It all happens in a few seconds
One down, forty-nine more to go
