Not A Word I Possess
I cannot think
Of a thought to ponder
I cannot think
Of any words to wander
My fingers freeze
On the keys so taunting
The nearly blank screen
Has been found ever wanting
How can I write
With a block so thick?
With not a trace of an idea
To form or to click
The clock on the wall
With its tick and its tock
Its face looking down
With laughter and mock
I think I give up
Not a word I possess
It's time to move on
Unfound words, I acquiesce
