If love was a dream,
created in the mind.
I wouldn't dare wake up,
not knowing what I'll find.
If love was a trap,
to hold me in a cage.
I'd find a way to get out,
my heart full of rage.
If love was a caress,
of many that you give.
I'll love you forever,
as long as we both shall live.
Valentine's Day is here,
my love has come by.
Forever will hold eternity,
never shall we die.

I like how your rhymes flow naturally as you write.
The words are very thoughtful and show the power of love.
