Silvery WInd

I take a deep breath,
And blow
The sound envelops my body,
Taking me to another world
My fingers daintily dance across the keys
Slowly slurring a scale
A tweet,
A twitter
My notes arrive with great ease;
Flowing like a river
Forte and piano are quite common;
Together they form a sweet melody
The sound of music rushes through my veins
I master and perfect each note
The song mimics color, feeling, and beauty
Without using words it expresses its meaning
Many interpretations can be made
My silvery white hunk of metal can produce things with only wind to support it.
We are his metal, his tools
He hammers and molds until it’s just right,
Then blows the breath of life to create humanity
The flute.

I love this poem!  I love the sounds and the images it creates!
