Hello there,
it's been awhile since we spoke,
a long while for me.
Time hadn't healed the wound that
separated
us two,
or at least I thought it did
until today
when out of nowhere you popped up
and took my breath away.
And I looked deep into your eyes;
saw the smile on your face,
the same one that I watched many
an endless night.
I thought I was in a dream,
and still I do
because I've been waiting so long,
but deep in my heart
I know it's true;
not only do I miss you,
but you miss me too.
