Darkness

My eyes are open
To the Darkness in the world.
It creeps in the corners
It hides in my heart.
I think I can escape it
But I was wrong to think that.
It hunts me down
Like I am the evil one
But all I am trying to do
Is get away from the evil one.
The one who stole my life,
The one who stole my world
The one who stole my everything
And has left me with nothing
But itself,
The Darkness.
