The street,
Locusts sing a
Mysterious song,
Kids riding bikes
In the warm
Summer shade,
Sweet smelling
Rain
Fills the air.
A southern summer
Is the life for me.
Slippery snow
Covers the street,
Breath
Goes crisp in air,
Kids bundled
Looking miserable,
Body tingling from
Freezing temps.
Missing warm
