A Repetative Past
Day by day time passes by
and Man walks on with blinded eye,
regarding only what he sees,
deaf to the cries of centuries.
Ages lost in times of past
cannot make their lessons last.
If Man forgets the things he's learned,
then back again the time is turned.
If Man would look to history,
then futures parallel he'll see.
He'll learn to make it's lessons last,
history's not just the past.
