Why do I keep their glass hearts hanging by a thread?
Tugging
On the delicate strings
Like a golden harp
Playing a sweet, gentle melody
Mesmerizing them with false attraction
Potentially fatal
I am a Siren
A tease
Falling in love with me is just a trap
I thrive off of the attention they give me
But return none of it back
Though, I know that it is wrong
To damage, and cripple the emotions of another
I cannot stop
Eventually, the thread will fray
And snap
Their hearts
Shattered
