I've met Death
I've met Death
I met Death on a cold winter’s
in the a wood
where a path forked in two
I’ve met Life
I met Life on a scorching hot day
Under a huge oak tree
With sit chairs in which we sat
Please, don’t think me queer
But I because quick friends with Death
and quicker enemies with Life
For Death was a little girl
and Life was a big black crow
