In Winter

I walk across the frozen ground.
Your frost bitten fingers curling around mine.
Our breath visible to the world.

I feel the setting sun across my cheeks.
Your skin almost glowing in this winter light.
Our faces shadowed in crimson illumination.

Us, together, in the newly fallen snow.
