Rosepedals
How can such a tiny girl have such resilience?
How can she love so, so feircely,
when the one who should've called her 'Princess' destroyed her life?
How can she freely and willingly give away kisses, hug, 'I love you''s, and smiles,
when everything was ripped out of her chubby, dimples-for-knuckles hands?
The key to life. Kindness? Selflessness?
Taking the high road, you might say.
Forgiveness, maybe? Surely not.
The key to life, I have learned, is to be like Abi.
