Why couldn’t our
World leaders have been
Mozart,
Sousa,
Bach,
And Grainger?
They could’ve taught us how
To coexist
For
Composers are pacifists
Who bring instruments of different
Shapes,
Sizes,
Sounds,
And colors
Together in
Perfect Harmony.

The author's comments:
This poem is all about metaphors. I was thinking about how every instrument is so different, just like every person, and how composers bring them all together to make beauty. I wish that humans could learn a lesson from these composers about accepting one another and working together to create something special.
