My red against my pale
Like white against black
Your tears with your reasons
Like truth with lies
A displeasure and a necessity
Like talking and breathing
The need for silence with a need for "contagious" laugh
Like what I want and what you need
All of which seem to clash

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece to say that although I put on a happy/brave front I'm not a happy/brave person. I have my quirks, which seem to clash against the front I put up.
