A broken heart left behind
to bleed
stepped on
beaten
stabbed with a knife
not to be revived
the mess cleaned up
the first rag
found covered in
blood
fingerprints covered up
no evidence anything
ever happened
the murderer long
gone
moved on
to
other victim
never to
come back
