I'm The One

I’m frail and weak, but no one knows.
I’m the one who pretends to be happy, but is dying on the inside.
I’m the one who prays night after night for a friend, but doesn’t get her wish.
I’m the one who stands out, yet no one sees.
I’m the one who falls, and can’t pick herself back up.
I’m the one who closes her eyes and wishes for a better day, but doesn’t get it.
I’m the one who smiles a lot, but they’re always fake.
I’m the one who tries to be strong, but isn’t.
I’m the one who you tell things to, but you don’t return the favor.
I’m the one.
