And couldn't breathe, not where I stand
a pebble, a grain, a dream, like sand
couldn't breathe, in this light, I stand in the sun
its branches burn the oxygen, the ash of my skin,
Nerves melting, whether here or there
Like a lie it burns me, And couldn't breathe
I inhale, drowned by my ashes
like the truth I float to the surface
as I stand on the sun, mapping the space I call my home
Hydrogen, shredding my chest, I exhale, my lungs shrinking, crumbling to ash
I burn from my crinkled toes to my chest
My contempt of love which dishonors me to oblivion
Reaching my mouth, I swallow a flame, Fluttering along the horizon
like a butterflies wings, singing, and stinging my heart as it travels
Reaching my nose, I smell the pain of my future
Reaching my eyes, I realize I’ve been blind for too long
Fire to the tips of my hair, floating above me as a feather in a puddle, I disappear,
and I’ve never taken a deeper breathe.

This is very good! Kinda like a mermaid coming to life, fighting suffocation at the beginning, and it paints a great word picture when it wraps up so completely at the end!

Keep it up!! =)
