I ask them To Slow down

And look around
See what happens and analyze it.
Learn from it.
Be inspired by it.
Expand from it.
But whatever it is
People never pause
To admire the things that make the place we call earth,
Home.

The author's comments:
My eighth grade class did a quick write based on Billy Collins "Introduction to Poetry" and I began to think how fast moving our world is and why people couldn't just stop.
