I dream…
Of a ribbon of exquisite stars twirling up to the luminescent moon.
The stars seem mysterious, alluring as I gaze in wonder.
The shining cord of beauty reaching up to the heavens sparkles, shimmers, invites me irresistibly.
I step onto the shining, light-thread and the stars scatter, fly away, like startled lightning bugs.
I glide forward, my scream of shock torn from my lips.
I’m falling, away, away, away.
Past the taunting, winking thread and the laughing moon, past the final snatch of heartbreaking laughter as the world hurtles away at a breakneck pace.
I’m falling, falling, falling.
