Love doesn't fit
The constraints of black and white
it stays in the ever changing gray
you count on luck to guide
you through twisting alleyways
but you don't know where you are headed
or who you can trust
you're trying to build a life on nothing
you hope for the future,
while trying so hard
with your life and love, but
since when does love play nice?
bitter tears and angry words
moments of cruelty, passion
who said true love was easy?
obviously someone who doesn't know
you have to dig deep, but we
always stay too close to the surface
we're too scared to dig deep in our hearts
our minds, and share who we are
with anyone
then this love thing, it gets broken
we get broken
you don't know what to say
it's all lost in the world of everything
