There it is.
That familiar tickling in my ear.
I think I know what is coming next.
That wonderful whisper.
That special sound that fills your brain with curious thoughts.
Secrets.
Like a key to the universe that only belongs to me.
The new found treasure is food to my brain.
A secret is a room with a thousand doors that are locked.
It is just behind the door. All we have to do is break through.

It stays there. Quietly lurking in the background. Distracting me from all of my thoughts.
Appearing at every corner.
A microscopic virus. Choosing its host carefully. Growing with every word.

I wrote this piece with the help of the amazing Natalie J. I got the idea for this piece during English class, writing figures of speech for words.
