Like a heart beat racing in your ears and cymbals clashing with every step,
It tastes like salty blood coating the back of your parched, hoarse throat.
Like an eerie lake, slick and dark as black ice, hovered by fog,
It blurs your vision with shades of red as you search for an exit,
It swallows you whole.
