I wear the mask
It hides all that I feel
Confused and hurt
I don't know what to do
My heart aches
They don't even know
Time just passes by
All I want to do is cry
I wear the mask
I told them
What else can I do
They should be aware
They just don't care
I'm suffocating
Debating
Waiting
I'm trying
We just keep fighting
I wear the mask
What now
Do I keep striving
Break free
Be done with it
I'm tired of feeling like an old ticking watch that never goes dead
I wear the mask

This was something that I wrote when I was going through a hard time with my family. It was rough and all I wanted to do was write and this is what came to me.
