I'm not exactly beautiful,
In any sense of the word,
And if you saw me,
You'd think for sure that I'm a nerd,
I guess it's too much,
To be more than what you are,
But I know someday it'll come true,
My wish upon a star,
So call me names and beat me down,
Say whatever you will,
Tease me for being who I am,
Run me through the mill,
I know that I'm not perfect,
But if you took a look,
I'm just a girl with feelings too,
Practically an open book,
I choose not to talk a lot,
Most people think I'm shy,
But I'm more confident then they know,
But no one asks me why,
And I may always be a nerd,
But someday someone will see,
Something no one's ever seen before,
The beautiful side of me,
The that's hidden deep inside,
The one no one knows,
The one that's hidden from my friends,
Not only from my foes,
I wonder sometimes,
What would happen if people would see,
That I'm more than just a nerd,
That there's a beautiful side of me.
