The Big Race
As tears on joy run down my face
I wonder how I won that race.
Fighting against everything, even time
I didn’t see anything, except that line.
Flying, and soaring through the roaring crowd
I look at they’re faces, they are oh so proud
Almost there just a step, maybe two
I did it, yes! What can you do?
Now look at this, oh look what I’ve done.
I’ve finished this race, so hard and strong.
So happy and pleased with myself on this day
I cant wait to see you do it, thats what I say
But now that its over, its time to go home
Its not just the race thats over, so is this pome.
